Technical Product Specialist
Position Overview
Technical Product Specialist ensures that products are sales-ready for internal teams and for customers and end-users. This role focuses on how we can improve the buying experience and is involved in downstream commercialization, marketing and sales enablement.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop understanding of roof top and access panel products, technical and application capabilities
- Ensure sales readiness for new and existing products
- Respond to technical inquiries from sales and customers to educate and influence buying decisions
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with product manager to ensure messaging, phase 4 deliverables and training are in place for new product introductions and assist in defining go-to-market strategies
- Document and maintain competitor profiles and market trends
- Create and analyze sales data and financial reports to generate data-driven insights that inform the corporate roadmap, evaluate product performance, and monitor progress toward strategic objectives
- Other projects, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUREMENTS
- Experience in sales, engineering or marketing of technical, industrial or construction products
- Experience communicating with sales and customers and developing positive working relationships
- Engineering or similar technical, marketing or business degree
- Microsoft suite, including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce or other CRM systems
