Regional Outside Sales Manager

Nystrom is looking for its next driven individual to join our team in the role of Regional Outside Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting Nystrom products throughout your territory to accounts with the goal of increased relationships and ultimately, profitable growth.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve regional sales goals.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor territory sales managers and independent rep firms. 
  • Track and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective action.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers within the region.
  • Stay informed about the company’s products and services and be able to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Collaborates with sales leadership on the development of proposals to large prospects.
  • Effectively communicates the value of the company and hassle-free commitment to new and existing customers.
  • Provides application and product guidance to customers, as well as our sales organization.
  • Recommend marketing and product strategies to target a specific region or demographic.
  • Collaborate with the inside sales team on the strategy and sales plans to achieve goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and management skills- Ability to motivate and lead a team of sales representatives
  • Proven track record of success in sales, ideally with experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and identify trends.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales representatives, and upper management.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction building products with understanding of the bidding process.
  • Strong, verbal, and written skills
  • Previous CRM experience desired (Salesforce)
  • Superior and self-directed work ethic with ability to quickly adapt to customer needs
  • Travel up to 40%
  • Customer first and client focus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equal business experience
