Regional Outside Sales Manager

Babcock-Davis is seeking a motivated, results-driven professional to join our team as a Regional Outside Sales Manager. In this role, you will promote Babcock-Davis products within your territory, strengthening distributor relationships and driving profitable growth.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to meet regional sales targets.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor independent representative firms.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and contractors in the region.
  • Stay well-versed in Babcock-Davis products and services and effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Partner with sales leadership on proposal development.
  • Clearly articulate the company’s value proposition and hassle-free commitment to both new and existing customers.
  • Provide application and product expertise to customers and the sales organization.
  • Recommend marketing initiatives and product strategies tailored to specific regions or demographics.
  • Collaborate closely with the inside sales team on strategies and plans to achieve sales goals.

Job Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team of sales professionals.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, ideally in a similar role.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and spot trends.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with customers, sales teams, and senior management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction building products; commercial roofing experience a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to quickly adapt to customer needs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Customer-first mindset with a commitment to client satisfaction.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
