Regional Outside Sales Manager
Nystrom is looking for its next driven individual to join our team in the role of Regional Outside Sales Manager for the western part of the country. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting Nystrom products throughout your territory to new and existing accounts with the goal of increased relationships and ultimately, profitable growth.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute a product sales strategy by building and developing relationships with internal and external sales organizations
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage, train, and develop Independent Representatives and expansion joint representatives in your territory. Manage, train, and develop direct employees in your territory.
• Effectively communicates the value of the company and hassle-free commitment to new and existing customers.
• Maintains and nurtures relationships with current accounts while actively engaging with potential prospects.
• Collaborates with sales leadership on the development of proposals to large prospects.
• Understands and effectively communicates the value of Nystrom products.
• Recommend marketing and product strategies to target a specific region or demographic.
• Work closely with the Regional Inside Sales Territory Manager.
• Develop a market mapping of top customers in major cities within your territory
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction building products. Expansion Joint experience is preferred.
• Proven outside sales experience with track record of over-achieving quota.
• Strong, verbal, and written skills.
• Previous CRM experience desired (Salesforce)
• Strong aptitude for presenting ideas.
• Superior and self-directed work ethic.
• Ability to travel on a nationwide basis on short notice to accomplish the company goals as needed with travel expected to be up to 50%.
