Regional Outside Sales Manager
Babcock-Davis is seeking a motivated, results-driven professional to join our team as a Regional Outside Sales Manager. In this role, you will promote Babcock-Davis products within your territory, strengthening distributor relationships and driving profitable growth.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to meet regional sales targets.
- Manage, coach, and mentor independent representative firms.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and contractors in the region.
- Stay well-versed in Babcock-Davis products and services and effectively communicate their value to customers.
- Partner with sales leadership on proposal development.
- Clearly articulate the company’s value proposition and hassle-free commitment to both new and existing customers.
- Provide application and product expertise to customers and the sales organization.
- Recommend marketing initiatives and product strategies tailored to specific regions or demographics.
- Collaborate closely with the inside sales team on strategies and plans to achieve sales goals.
Job Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team of sales professionals.
- Proven track record of success in sales, ideally in a similar role.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and spot trends.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers, sales teams, and senior management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction building products; commercial roofing experience a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to quickly adapt to customer needs.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Customer-first mindset with a commitment to client satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
