Entry level welding position. Basic welding background is a plus. Clamping and sparing must be done prior to welding. Welding is performed on aluminum and light gauge galvanized steel. Individual performs frequent quality checks. Works with team members to maximize productivity through lean practices.

Essential Functions

• Cross training on different positions to ensure maximum output
• Measure, square and assemble parts by welding parts together
• Grind metal to correct sizes
• Set up welding area for different production runs
• Keep work area clean organized
• Work within all safety guidelines
• Performs frequent quality checks
• Welding parts according to sizes specified on the work orders
• Misc. projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to read tape measure
• Safety conscious
• Good attendance
