Developing the right products for customers is this company's passion. We’re looking for a New Product Development Specialist who lives to juggle projects and deliver on time. A positive people leader with a gift of analytics, our new team member loves to pivot between big picture thinking and breaking down the details our customers value in product design to develop an action plan. Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed understanding of company product lines, technical/application capabilities, and marketplace (comprehensive training and on-boarding will be provided)
  • Responsible for Voice of Customer and ensuring customer requirements are met in new product development and R&D projects
  • Partner with sales team and communicate with customers to identify end-user, and installer needs
  • Evaluate feasibility of new product opportunities, including technical requirements, market potential, and pricing
  • Present documented findings to leadership team
  • Work with R&D to maintain and prioritize internal development projects and timelines
  • Lead and maintain product roadmaps of ideas for current and future developments

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of work experience with a background in new product development
  • Experience researching and compiling technical requirements, financial information, and market needs
  • Experience working with cross-functional sales, engineering, production and marketing teams to understand product opportunities and define new product projects, deliverables, and action plans
  • Experience communicating with customers/end users to define and determine needs and opportunities
  • Engineering, marketing or business degree preferred
  • Able to report to a Minneapolis office location that follows all State and CDC COVID-19 safety guidelines
