Summary

Operates and maintains various Machines in the plant. Performs frequent quality checks. Monitors parts supplied to production to ensure continuous work flow. Performs preventive maintenance on the machine. Works with team members to maximize productivity through principles of lean manufacturing.

Essential Functions

• Supply production with parts to ensure continuous work flow
• Cross train on various machines to fill in when needed
• Performs frequent quality checks
• Maintain working knowledge of all programs and tooling
• Ability to work and communicate well with others
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Work within all safety guidelines
• Change tooling
• Cross training on various positions to ensure maximum output
• Miscellaneous work duties and projects as directed

Qualifications

• Capable of reading blueprints
• Strong math skills
• Minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of 2 year laser experience, including set up
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
