Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands, solving problems, and being part of a team that works with sheet metal products every day? At Nystrom, we’re looking for a Machine Operator who thrives in a dynamic, industrial environment—where precision, consistency, and pride in your work matter.

We’re looking for someone who has experience in an industrial manufacturing setting and is comfortable with established machine processes on equipment like lasers, turret presses, punching and forming machines. You don’t need to know every machine—we’ll train you—but you do need to bring a strong foundation in math, measurement, and basic computer skills.

What You’ll Do

• Operate machines with consistency and attention to detail
• Perform quality checks using tools like calipers and gauges
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Use basic computer programs for machine setup and mild programming
• Keep your area clean, organized, and safe.
• Participate in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Cross-train in other roles to support team productivity.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals
• Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a safe work culture.

What You Bring

• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Strong math and measurement skills (including caliper use)
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
• Basic computer literacy for machine setup and adjustments
• A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly — this is physical work.
