The Project
The New York Power Authority headquarters relocation to White Plains, NY represents a $330 million investment in a modern workplace. Spanning approximately 260 feet tall and more than 310,000 square feet, the new facility will accommodate 1,100 employees and deliver a significant upgrade from the current location.
As part of the build, the project incorporated 1,900 feet of Aluminum Hinged Heavy Duty System expansion joints (surface applied). Nystrom partnered closely with the project team - working alongside the architect and contractor - to develop a solution tailored to the project’s unique requirements, ultimately providing a more effective and efficient option than other systems considered.
