USSABC Leads First Business Delegation from Minnesota
The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council (USSABC) led a delegation of 11 Minnesota firms on a business development mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from April 4-8, 2009. The purpose of the trade mission, which visited Jeddah, the commercial hub of Saudi Arabia, and the capital city of Riyadh, was to build and strengthen bilateral relations between the State of Minnesota and Saudi Arabia. Although the Business Council has a long history of organizing successful trade missions to and from Saudi Arabia, this was the first trade mission organized by the USSABC from Minnesota. Congressman Keith Ellison (5th District, Minnesota) participated in the mission.
