Floor Hatches:  Exterior, Drainable, Aluminum FGA

Nystrom Drainable Series floor doors are intended for exterior or high moisture areas when liquid flow into the hatch is a concern.

Nystrom FGA:  Exterior, drainable, aluminum floor doors provide access through openings in exterior floors or floors subject to the presence of liquid.

The frame is constructed with a gutter for water runoff to a drainage system. Our hatches come standard with counterbalancing springs and a slam latch for ease of use. All Nystrom floor doors have stainless steel hardware throughout.

Door:
1/4" aluminum diamond tread plate

Frame:
1-1/2" drainage couping for water run-off, 1/4" extruded aluminum gutter frame

Hinge:
Type 316 Stainless steel butt hinge

Spring:
Type 316 Stainless steel compression springs enclosed in tubes, which counterbalance the door to require no more than 10-30 lbs. of opening force

Latch:
Type 316 Stainless steel slam latch with an inside lever handle and an outside removable key handle

Finish:
Mill finish. Frames provided with protective epoxy coating at areas that contact concrete

Hold-Open:
Type 316 Stainless steel handle that automatically locks the door at 90 degrees when opened. Handle can be released with one hand for easy operation
