STC-45 Acoustic Smoke Vents

Cover & Liner: 14 gauge galvanized steel.

Curb: 14 gauge galvanized steel with 13" self-flashing curb.
Optional: Double wall curb at exterior.

Hinge: Heavy-duty zinc plated steel with non-removable pins.

Latch: Positive hold release mechanism designed to hold the covers closed against 30 lbs./sq. ft. uplift force. Released by manual pull cables or by fusible melt-out link. Optional: Electronic/thermal resettable link.

Spring: High pressure gas springs designed to open vent covers automatically against 10 psf wind or snow load when released. Double door models come with greased compression springs enclosed in telescopic tubes.

Hardware: Heavy-duty shock absorbers, continuous extruded thermal EPDM gasketing, inside and outside manual release cables.

Insulation: 3" thick acoustic insulation in the cover and 1.75" in the curb perimeter.

Mounting Flange: 3 1/2" on single wall curb; 2 1/2 " on double wall curb.

UL Listing: The fusible melt-out link is UL listed. Hatch UL Listed 793 standard. See size chart for UL/FM listed models.

Finish: Factory applied powder coat.
